El Comité Internacional de Cualificación de Pruebas de Software (International Software Testing Qualifications Board, ISTQB) es una organización internacional sin fines de lucro, fundada oficialmente en noviembre de 2002, en Edimburgo (Escocia), con el fin de dar soporte y definir un esquema de certificación internacional.
El ISTQB suministra el Plan de Estudios (Syllabus) y el Glosario en los cuales se definen los estándares internacionales por nivel y se establecen las guías para la acreditación y evaluación de los profesionales del testing a cargo de los comités de cada país.
La certificación del ISTQB es la más reconocida a nivel mundial, relacionada directamente con las pruebas de software (software testing)
El ISTQB es un sello de calidad para los probadores de software (software testers) a nivel internacional.
